What do you think of these jewels? Perfect for summer or do you have better ideas?
Ring by Mawi – £392.00
What do you think?
My thoughts: I spotted this on Mawi’s website and I love it! I’m going through a jewellery obsession at the moment – it looks like a ring a warrior princess in KwaZulu Natal would wear when she is handling business!
This weekend I decided it was time to do a closet purge, which consist of me going through my closet and deciding it was time to part with clothing, shoes and purses. Because I know it’s so hard for me to part with my clothing and other items I had to come up with a plan. I decided in the next 5 weeks I would pick 3 items from 5 different categories to sell on eBay. The 5 categories include:
Whatever I don’t sell I will give to friends, family, thrift store depending on the item. This week I picked out three dresses to part with and this is what I considered:
Here are the three dresses I put up on eBay; these items will be on here for one week.
1. Old Prom Dress from 2005
2. Hot Pink Animal Print Party Dress
3. Black and White Shift Dress
What do you purge your closet?
1. Now this is O.G status. I love it – makes me want to start dieting and fit into a tiny bikini!
2. I love love love this magazine cover – I want all of DD’s style!
3. I love the sunglasses!
I am definitely going to incorporate more vintage looks into my style wardrobe!
Shoes are an addiction for me. The way your toes can look as round as the moon in a pair of heels is not matched by other types of shoes. The following shoes I have picked scream sex appeal and high-heeled luxury for businesswomen or women who want that power business look for their downtime.

Do you think high heels are appropriate for where you work or are you a ballerina girl?
Products I used for the spread: Carmex Lip Balm & Collection 2000 Lipgloss
Every day when I am going to work, I have noticed that my beauty regime has changed. I have not worn foundation in a while, but instead I have put the focus on my lips. The products I use are the ones I took in the spread and they make my lips look plump which is something I love. I am a bit of maverick when it comes to looks for business + work and yes shiny lips and lipstick is not something the conservative style heads for business would suggest but if you are starting your own business or you are a consultant, try something new and go against matte! This is why I believe women in business should stand out against the conservative nature of fashion and beauty and look sparkling and bubbly.
Do you think businesswomen should be more conservative or be more unique in their beauty + fashion image? Would it be bad for business to be sultry?
