For… sake (it’s Good Friday so I am trying to keep this post clean). What the hell is this ? I know people worldwide love American music but if this is the best new US R&B popette, Teyana Taylor, then I am bored out of my mind! This is saccharine pop music, disguised under a bright, hip-hop inspired sheen. Is she getting paid by Google to highlight them ? Many bloggers are saying she is another version of Kelis but please,let’s give Kelis some credit. Kelis is actually talented even though she is married to a fool of a husband (yes, I said Nas was a fool and I mean it!)
The song gets bearable towards the end but this girl is trying to show off like she can sing but she can’t (but she can hold a note better than Rihanna). I am worried for the state of R&B singers. R&B is dying.

ohhhh so much to accomplish today , but i just had to write you . she is harlem girl , who danced at block parties , and signed by pahrell . can you see beyonce’s movement in her video ? she handled the choreography for beyonce , and creates dances such as the chicken noodle soup . From this video i would stay a choreographer , but she is young and possibly could improve.

You’re right. R&B has been doomed for a while now. There are very few good R&B artists left.
By the way, I’ve never even heard the “Google Me” song. I can’t be bothered.
These days people just think they can become stars without the talent, hard work and the polish. Not surprised.
@ph2072 — the song is pretty bad but it is one of those catchy bad songs. someone on ‘a hot mess blog’ noted that she should be cocky after she establishes herself..exactly my thoughts!
