More Music thoughts: I can’t get enough of this song

50 cent really is repulsive in terms of his ideology on women and his rapping is dismal but this song…I have had a crush on it for months and months and months. It is my dirty little anti-feminist secret that inhabits my hardcore feminism body! I can’t get enough it. And why does it make 50 seem sexy ? Are even radical feminists attracted to ”bad boys” ?

Music: Duffy - A star on the rise ?

There is a lot of hype in the press about Welsh singer Aimee Anne Duffy, better known as Duffy. Her debut album ”Rockferry” was released in the UK last year I believe. Her new single ‘Mercy’ was at number 1 and I think it still is. I think the media were trying to pit her against another member of blue-eyed soul, Amy Winehouse.
