Okay so I have been stressed a great deal lately + I will be going on a short West Indian holiday arriving in Jamaica first and then en route to Barbados. However, a slight problem has occured (what’s new?) and it is proving nigh impossible to get to Barbados from Jamaica next week. I am feeling very dejected at the prospect of not being able to get to Barbados.*Sigh*. I am going to Montego Bay on the 16th of July and I barely know what to do in terms of getting to the other side of the Caribbean since all the flights are sold out and for some ridiculous reason, Air Jamaica only flies to Barbados once a day! Argh!!! Anyway, I am not going to be updating the blog from today onwards until I get my Caribbean holiday sorted out. Check out the blog roll and smile 4 me! I need all the good energy I can get!

Here are a couple of sources that may prove usefull to you for getting around the island by air:
Air Negril: http://caribbean-travel.com/airnegril//rates.html
Air Jamaica has a one-way fare between Montego Bay & Kingston for $US61.17 including taxes. Not sure if that is a special or not; but it was good up until 3:52PM EST. Jul 11th.
Cayman Airways, (caymanairways.com) although not indigenous to Jamaica, flies to Kingston & Montego Bay.
Caribbean Airlines (formerly BWIA) also flies between Jamaica and Barbados
I will be heading down to Jamaica in August myself. I hope this info helps you out. In any case have yourself a great trip.

Aulelia… it’s obvious to me that you are not suppose to get to Barbados! Why would you want to go there anyway? They are just “wanna-be” Jamaicans anyway! LOL!!!!!!
Seriously though, I am a firm believer that things happen or don’t happen for a reason. I do hope that you get to Barbados if that will make your trip more enjoyable…. but if not, don’t be dejected and enjoy Jamaica…. you can use my name too! lol! Watch out for the “Dexters” and the “Tourist Dreads”…. they are sweet talkers! You can use my name there too! lol!
I read your previous post about feeling burnt out. I hope this trip will re-energize and refocus you. Enjoy it… however it works out and remember that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord… you are in my prayers and know that positive vibes are going out to you from Canada!
